The reason that choice mattered is mechanical, not sentimental. A template clinic page gives an AI answer engine nothing specific to quote, so the engine hedges and skips. A page with a sharp, human line gives the engine something to cite. The voice rewrite was also an AEO decision.

The second decision was to treat her lost work as recoverable. Fourteen of her older blog posts had been published before a previous vendor change and had vanished from her domain.
